Jones's Story...
"Hello everybody, if you are looking for one of the most adorable and handsomest dogs in the whole wide world, then you and I should get acquainted. My name is JONES and I'm a 2-year-old Puggle who is super cute! I'm great with kids and with other animals, and I'm just the perfect size to be that great house dog you've always wanted. I love going for walks, and walk perfectly on the leash. I came into the shelter with another dog, but he has already been adopted, and I just know there is someone special out there for me, too, who will make me their very own. I'd love to have a new forever home, with a smallish yard, where I could play and get my exercise, and then have my own comfy and snuggly dog bed in the house, so that I could always be close to my person or my family. My hair is short, too, so you know that I am one of those "easy-care" guys. I enjoy getting brushed, and I love those hugs and tummy rubs, too. A trip to the shelter wouldn't be complete until you and I have had a chance to meet. Just ask our very kind Shelter Staff to introduce you to the incredibly adorable and very handsome dog, with the cutest face ever, whose name is JONES, and we may discover that we are meant to be together forever. So come on over to our shelter, and let's meet each other. See you soon. Love, Jones" Kennel #60

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jones, a El Cajon Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
