Marge's Story...
"Hi there everyone...if you are looking for a really special little dog, who is very sweet and lovable, then we should definitely get acquainted. My name is MARGE and I'm a 2-year old Chihuahua mix lady who would be the perfect size house dog (or apartment dog!). I have a beautiful shiny, black coat and my hair is very short, so you know for sure that I am one of those easy-care ladies. I love going for walks, and would also love to just sit by your side and relax. I'd want to be in an adult home, too. I'd only need a smallish yard, where I could enjoy myself, and I'd love to have my very own comfy and snuggly dog bed in the house, so that I could be close to my person or family. The shelter staff is fairly certain I'm house trained, but they're still watching me to be sure. A trip to our shelter wouldn't be complete until we've had a chance to meet, so I hope you will stop by our shelter so that we can get acquainted. Just ask our very kind Shelter Staff to introduce you to the beautiful and precious Chihuahua lady whose name is MARGE, and we just may discover that we are meant to be best friends forever. Who knows...I just might be that precious little dog that you have always dreamed about. Help me make my dreams come true for a new forever home with you. Hope to see you soon. I'll be watching for you. Love, Marge" Kennel #7

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marge, a El Cajon Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
