Maggie's Story...
This is Maggie, a cute Chihuahua mix; she is small weighing in at about 5lbs. Maggie is shy but sweet; she loves to cuddle and sit on laps. Due to her small size Maggie will best be suited as an indoor dog. Maggie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and pee pee pad trained. Maggie is a mellow, very quite little girl, she does not bark much if at all; she loves those little toys with the squeeky things inside. Maggie will make a great companion to a family, senior or just about anyone. Senior discounts available for the dogs we place.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Rescue Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Rescue, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Rescue.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rescue already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rescue breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rescue paves the way for another one to be saved.
