My name is Max- wire-haired Jack Russel T!

My name is Max. I am a 4 year old neutered Male Wire Haired Jack Russel Terrier.I am updated on my shots, but will be due again at the end of November.
Let me tell you a little about myself.


Since I was just a pup I lived with my very best friend in the world. He used to take me everywhere with him.
Some people say a dog's got the life, but a dog's life isn't always easy. Sadly, my best friend just couldn't keep me anymore. He's expecting a baby. I was hoping to become best friends with the baby, but my best friend's fiance didn't think it was a good idea to have a little dog like me around a new baby. Of course I don't agree, but I'm just a dog & dogs don't get a say in these things. I know it was hard for my best friend. I can tell by the way he tried to make me feel better.I wish things weren't this way, but sometimes humans are put in tough positions.
My good friend Michelle used to take care of me when my best friend went out of town for work. When I stayed with her, I became a part of her family. Sometimes I'd stay for weeks at a time. When she found out they were going to put me to sleep because they couldn't find me a new home, she promised to help me. I wish she could just keep me, but she has too many dogs right now and she's in the process of moving so it's just not going to work. I understand, but I feel kind of scared and alone wondering where I'm going to wind up.
I love kids, but Michelle doesn't think I should be around really young ones. Playing with kids over 10 is always tons of fun for me! My friend Michelle thinks I'd be awesome at dog agility. Her boy likes to get me to go through tunnels and hoops, and I get so excited I just love doing it! As much as I like to play, I also like to chill out. I spend a lot of time sleeping on the couches, and in the beds of my friends house. I love to be close to the people I love. Being a part of a family is the most important thing to me.
I do get along with other dogs, but I'd prefer to be the only one in the house. My best friend has always showered me with extra attention, and I got used to it. I'd prefer not having to share the spotlight with anyone if I don't have to. Right now I share the house with Michelle's 3 dogs, and even though one of them is a male we all get along great. I just wish I was the only one because I am an attention hog. : )
I should let you know that I have this strange little quirk with my tail. Sometimes I think it's chasing me, so I bark at it & I try to attack it. On rare occasions I even catch it! If you hear me yipe when I'm going after my tail, don't be alarmed, you'll get used to it.
