Zeus's Story...
Hi!! I am Zeus, a 11 week old puppy. I was found alone on a side walk and a nice person took me to my now foster mom. She took care of me right away! I have been vaccinated and dewormed. I get along with other doggies, I am very affectionate. Plus I am learning to go potty outside.
The vet says I am a German Shepherd. I have so much love to give, I am playful and ready to live a great life!!!! I am just an innocent puppy, I can only hope for good things!!!
P.S. if you adopt me now, you will have to fix me and provide proof of the surgery. They say they don't want more doggies like me left abandoned on side walks anymore. Thank you!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a San Diego German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in San Diego, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
