My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People,
My name is Kiki and I am a darling little bichon girl about five months old and about six pounds. My foster mom says I’m active, happy and playful – just what you would expect from a bichon puppy – and that I’m as cute as I am loving.

While I love to play, I also love to just sit on your lap and be petted (and maybe even catch a few winks.) Mom says that I am also happy to lie near you while you read or watch TV ( and practice snuggling, of course!) Another adorable thing I do is to stand on my back legs and asked to be picked up. (I must be doing it right because Mom says it works every time)

I love children and I love other dogs. I enjoy my doggy foster sisters and brother. I like to run with them in the yard and find all kinds of things to play with. With my puppy energy and enthusiasm running and playing are two of my favorite things to do (next to snuggling and cuddling, that is. ) Mom also says I’ve never met a toy I didn’t like – and the noisier the better!) She says I’m such a good ‘mom’ that I take my toys everywhere I go so that they don’t get lonely. (Silly, Mom – or is it silly me?)

While I am still quite young, I am also very smart. I have learned to walk on a leash and I love to go for rides in the car! I’m crate trained and know how to use the doggie door too! Mom says I am eager to please so it won’t take me long to do everything just right. She says just watch and see. (I’m not sure what that means but I think it’s good ‘cause Mom smiles when she says that.)

My BFK Aunties say that I have the bestest disposition in the world!!! They say that only the most special family will be right for me – and that I’m also special in my own way. I have this condition called ‘dry eye’ so I need a little help from my forever family. I need someone who will give me eye drops twice a day, every day. And I’ve already learned how to do it. You see when Mom says ‘Kiki Come’ I know it’s time for my eye drops-- so I let her put them in my eyes then I get to run and play some more! I’m very good about my drops and am a perfectly silly, happy puppy in all other ways.

So, if you are looking for a little love bug to share your home and lap, to run and play and keep you entertained, please complete an application at www.bichonfurkids.org- and ask for Kiki.

I’ll be waiting to meet you.

Tail wags and puppy kisses.
