Ricky & Lucy's Story...
This sweet little couple had to be given up due to health reasons in the family. Ricky and Lucy are an adorable pair.Ricky just turned 8 and Lucy will turn 8 in February. But don't let the age scare you, these curious and playful little pups can live to be 16 years old .Ricky and Lucy have been together their whole lives and that is how we want to keep it. Lucy is the boss and watches out for Ricky, he is a little unsure of new things but does warm up given a little time. Lucy loves to give kisses. They have learned to use the doggy door in their foster home also. These two would make a great addition to your home. Lucy is red and weighs 8 pounds and Ricky is just 5 pounds and is the white one.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricky & Lucy, a Columbus Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
