I am 1 year old. Dina is a very special girl. Ever since she was a small puppy she has lived outside. Once she got big enough she learned how to escape. Her cruel owners then tied her up to a tree with a large chain which is where she lived for the next couple months. We received an email about this sweet girl and could not let her suffering continue. Ever since she has arrived here she has been such a silly girl. Poor Dina never had any sort of interaction with people or training before arriving, so she was like a little puppy. She since has learned that people are good. With a little training and reinforcement Dina will make a great addition to someones family. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested and started on Heartgard Plus & Frontline Plus. We do not have a history on most of the animals up for adoption since we rescue them Animal Control and they are usually labeled as strays. We can only tell you their behavior since they have been with us. We do not know the specific breeds of each dog. Once again, because they are rescued we have to guess as to what they MAY be a mix of.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dina, a Huntley Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Huntley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Huntley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntley paves the way for another one to be saved.
