Dallas & Tulia's Story...
Two-pound Tulia and Dallas are looking for two tons of fun! They are very bonded and do everything together -- where one goes, the other follows. These girls are fascinated by the bathroom and enjoy lounging in the sink and the (dry) tub. But that doesn’t mean they don’t like water, because they DO! Turn on some drips for them to bat at and lick. They even make sport of trying to pull the stopper out. Tulia and Dallas are high energy and highly cuddly as well. They are not shy and share close quarters with other household cats and dogs and a little boy. You know how tough it can be getting your share of bathroom time in a crowded house …. If you have some to spare, this precious sister act would love to accompany you to the loo. Dallas & Tulia were born in July 2012

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dallas & Tulia, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
