WEMBLEY's Story...
PLEASE READ THIS PROFILE AND THE REQUESTED CRITERIA BEFORE CALLING OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION

THIS IS WEMBLEY....and there is stunning...and there is adorable....and then there is Wembley, who is stunningly adorable! This tri colored, 1.5 yr old, 16.5 lb, Lhasa Tzu couldn't be a happier dog if he tried. He's really a puppy....and will need some training...but all dogs, especially Lhasa, should have training! Wembley's personality is all Shih Tzu. He is kissy and affectionate and he LOVES to have his belly rubbed! He has a lot of energy and really should go to an active family who has another young, playful dog, a yard, and time to train him. He would be a great guy to go running with -- he would love that! He is NOT a barker....he doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. But, he really is very puppy like and the likelihood is that he was dumped in the Lancaster Shelter because whomever had him did not have time to give him the attention he so richly deserves. He calms down and really loves to snuggle with you, all the while giving you tons of kisses of appreciation. He goes into a trance when you cuddle with him or rub his head or tummy....he is submissive, smart and aims to please. This is a fantastic dog who will be a wonderful companion to a family who will spoil him to life!! Might that be yours?

Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

If you are interested in adopting a pup from Lhasa Happy Homes, please complete the Adoption Application before calling. We want to give you the time you deserve, so please help us help you!! We will contact you once it has been reviewed.

Most Sundays, unless we are doing a special event, we are at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064) from 11a-3:30pm. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our Events Calendar for more information on events we may be doing! See our home page for more details about our adoptions at Lhasa Happy Homes.

Thanks for thinking rescue and adoption....and for considering saving a life. It will be the best gift you ever give yourself or your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WEMBLEY, a Los Angeles Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
