Dusty & Rusty's Story...
We're brothers Dusty (gray) and Rusty (orange), and we're a winning combination. Life wasn't always so easy for us. We were born in an alley, where we struggled as little kittens to survive . We were skinny and missing a lot of hair, and our two siblings didn't make it. But thanks to good food and medicine and a move to a foster home, we're doing much better now. Our bodies have filled out and our coats are thick. We're playful, curious and affectionate and make an entertaining pair. Now we just need a forever home to call our own. Are you ready for a dynamic duo like us?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dusty & Rusty, a Kensington Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kensington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Kensington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kensington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kensington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kensington paves the way for another one to be saved.
