Giselle's Story...
This little girl is a rare breed---looks and personality all in one! Rescued from death row at the Downey shelter, she came in a s a stray. Hard to believe that anyone would let this sweetheart out of their sight for even a moment. Quite unique looking, she is a beauty with her long lean physique and big round eyes. She is love and affection personified. She has a playful personality, loves to run and play ball. She also can't wait to jump into your lap and cuddle, and nuzzle her head into your shoulder. Currently in foster care in Fallbrook, she gets along extremely well with other dogs. She would thrive in either a family with children and/or other animals. Please contact foster mom Denise at 760.645.3950 or Hurry, because she won't last long!

Thank you for considering adopting a rescue dog!

We are Lucky Pup Dog Rescue, a 501c3 non profit dog rescue in San Diego, California. We are a small rescue staffed by all volunteers.
Our adoption process does require an application, a home visit and a min tax deductible donation to our rescue of $200. ($250 for puppies under a year)
Your donation helps to cover the rescue costs (spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, worming, flea treatments and any other medical needs). Your donation not only helps the dog you adopt, but it also helps us to rescue another dog from the shelter.

Our APPLICATION is located on our website

Once we have your application, we can set a time to meet the pup (s) you are interested in. Many of our dogs are in foster homes around the community, so we would need to set an appointment.
We also hold monthly adoption events around the San Diego area and they are listed on our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Giselle, a san diego Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in san diego, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in san diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in san diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a san diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in san diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
