Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howie came to the shelter with his buddy Chance as a humane case. Chance was totally blind and Howie was his world. He helped Chance get around and comforted him. They came in filthy and neglected. Chance was transferred to another rescue that specializes in special needs dogs. Howie was then adopted but because he was having house training problems was returned.
He is now at the prison getting trained in obedience and manners, and learning how to be a good family (potty trained) pet. He started his training on October 10, 2012. He will be gone for 8-12 weeks. When Howie returns, he will be the best dog he can be. Adoption applications are now being accepted. You can download an app at www.friendshipapl.org, but it must be hand delivered to the shelter. If you have any questions please call the shelter at 440-322-4321.
This sweet/happy boy is 3 years old. Please give Howie the home and love he longs for. Howie has a heart of gold and has lots of love to give you in return.
