Our Adoption Process...
"Heather's House of Hounds" is a cooperative of rescues in the East Tennessee area that work hard to home dogs up into loving Pennsylvania and New England homes.
Our dogs are mainly fostered in TN with loving families. We have many terrific dogs looking for homes! All of them are vetted, neutered/spayed and on heartworm protection. All of them come with complete medical records. Their adoption fee of $300 covers their complete age appropriate vetting and heartworm preventative as well as their transportation to your area.

Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in the New England area. Due to this it is not possible to meet them prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new owners weekly! We have a 14 day no questions asked money back guarantee and the dog can be returned to us if things don't work out. We try hard to get good matches in our homes so that everyone has a happy life together! To date we have placed over a thousand dogs and puppies in loving New England homes!

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Allentown, PA; Foster, RI; Hagerstown, MD; Plainfield, CT; Portland, ME; Salem, NH; Spring Valley, NY

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a Plainfield Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
