My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Autumn is very sweet and tiny at only around eight pounds. She came to us from a shelter where she had been taken as a "stray" and was very pregnant. We brought her into our rescue to give her a peaceful place to have her pups, but unfortunately, none of her sweet babies made it. Autumn was confused at her loss but is recovering well.

In the time we've had her we've learned much about this sweet young thing. Autumn is around two years old and LOVES to sleep with her person/people, preferring the option of sleeping under the covers or near a head. She does well in a crate at night, but will put up a slight fuss at first because, well, she simply does not think of herself as a dog.

Autumn does great on lead and is always up for an adventure/walk. She is housetrained and gets along great with other dogs, though she'd just as soon be an only dog. Cats are ok as well but she's a little hesitant around them on first meeting.
