Bruin's Story...
Bruin is approximately 10 weeks old and was rescued off of a rural highway next to a barn where he and his siblings were living. Bruin is a happy little pup that loves other animals and likes humans even though he can be a bit shy initially. He would do best in a home with another dog as he lights up as soon as he sees one and usually they learn well from a wellbalanced dog. Bruin is very playful and active and must go to an active home. Daily walks are a must, trips to the park to play ball would be super cool too. Bruin should be medium to large when full grown. His mom is a yellow lab that is approximately 50lbs. She hasn't been captured yet and lives on her own in the same barn. This is the second litter we have gotten from this mother and the first litter was amazingly intelligent and trained almost immediately. They are also very social and have no issues at all. These pups will make great companions. email raesance@gmail.com for more info. Adoption fee is 225.00 and covers vaccines, neuter, wellness exam, fecal, dewormer, microchip and microchip registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruin, a Metairie Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Metairie, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Metairie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Metairie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Metairie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Metairie paves the way for another one to be saved.
