Congo's Story...
You can visit with Congo at the Petsmart in Lake Forest (El Toro Rd), CA. Hi, my name is Congo and I'm a 1 1/2 year old Exotic Highland Lynx. I am very unique looking! When the volunteer was trying to take my picture I wasnt to cooperative - I was busy checking things out and playing. My previous owner was sad to have to give me up but I was not getting along with the other cat in our home. So I will need to be adopted as the only cat in my new Forever Home. I'm very friendly and sweet with people and I get along with dogs. Oh, I also love to drink from the faucet so my new family will have to be ok with that. I have the cutest and most unique front paws ~ I have 7 toes on each of my front paws!! You really need to come see me in person to see how cute I am.

Forever Home Cat Rescue has other adoptable cats/kittens at the Petsmart stores in Lake Forest (El Toro Rd), Foothill Ranch and Rancho Santa Margarita. Stop by and you might find your new best friend. Adoption hours every Sat/Sun, 12-3:00pm.

All other times by appointment ~ call 949-829-0036.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Congo, a Foothill Ranch Exotic cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Exotic for sale in Foothill Ranch, or seeking a Exotic cat from a breeder in Foothill Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foothill Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foothill Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Exotic breeders who help with Exotic rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foothill Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
