Lance-pending adoption's Story...
Lance is a very cute Cocker/Shih Tzu mix. He is around a year old. He is just settling into his foster home so more updates will come as we get to know him a little better.

Wag N Train Terrier Rescue only adopts to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs.

A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lance-pending adoption, a Omaha Cocker Spaniel/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Shih Tzu for sale in Omaha, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Omaha.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Omaha already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Omaha breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Omaha paves the way for another one to be saved.
