Violet-PENDING ADOPTION's Story...
Violet is 1 to 2 year old blue point snowshoe cat who was found as a stray & taken to a rural Indiana shelter. Her owners didn't come looking for her, so when she ran out of time we brought her to foster care.

This beautiful girl is very affectionate & loving with humans. She graciously tolerates dogs & is currently spending most of her time in her foster home in the kitchen with a litter of puppies. However, Violet does NOT appreciate the company of other cats. She insists that she must be an only cat in her new home. We don't know anything about her history, so we don't know why Violet feels this way, but we agree that she would be happiest as an only cat.

Violet is a pleasure to live with. She is quiet yet attentive to her humans. She's happy to use a litter box & enjoys being a pampered house cat. Violet is not even a finicky eater.

And of course Violet is absolutely lovely. She has beautiful markings & incredibly soft fur for your petting pleasure. Vi is hoping to find a home of her own where she will be appreciated & loved for the rest of her life.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in adopting this cat, please EMAIL rather than call. That way your request can be forwarded to the appropriate person/foster home & an adoption application can be forwarded to you.

You must be at least 21 years of age & Head of Household in order to adopt from our organization.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet-PENDING ADOPTION, a Aurora Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
