My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption.

Hi, my name is Gracie Mae.

Oh dear, I have lost my family and now really, really need a new one. It is no fun to be found as a stray and brought to the shelter. I miss being with my family.

UPDATE: I am now living in a wonderful foster home.

This is what Gracie Mae's foster mom has to say about her; Gracie is a FANTASTIC dog and I am already in love with her. She is playful, friendly, sweet, and loving. I take her to the dog park often where she has a great time running around and playing with everybody.

She and Yuki are wrestling buddies and spend all evening running around the house. She gets along with any dog as long as they don't show dominance or aggression. If they do, she will fight back. She does fine with all people and she has done fine with kids at the dog park and at the vet.

I would recommend that she not be in a home with very small children though just because of her high energy and how hard she plays.

During the day, she stays outside with Yuki and doesn't get into any trouble. She will bark for about five minutes and then she stops. She doesn't try to get out at all. She is a ball fetcher and always has a toy in her mouth for you to throw for her. She also seems to like water. She does have quite a bit of energy so she will need to be in a home where she is either walked daily or gets to go to the dog park often.
She has only had one accident in the house when she got here, but since then she always chooses to go outside. Gracie would love to be in a house with another dog that she can play with and will probably make a great dog for a family.

I am a young lady, about two years old and I weigh around 40 pounds. See, I am a perfect size; not too big and not too small. I have already been spayed, given my basic shots, microchipped, and am heartworm negative.
