Amanda's Story...
Amanda is a loveable kitten. She is beautiful with her pure white furr and brown tabby markings which truly make her unique. She loves to greet you when you get home, of course she's missed you all day, for lots of affection. The first thing you'll have to do is give her lots of cuddling and kisses while she purrs up a storm. She is sweet, playful and purrful. She will rub on your leg, jump into your lap, lounge on the sofa with you and sleep next to you in bed. She enjoys her toy balls, mice, crinkle tunnels and carpet condos. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this little princess, stop by the Leesburg Petsmart on Saturdays 12-3pm to see her. Estimated DOB is 6/9/2012.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amanda, a Reston Turkish Van kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Reston, or seeking a Turkish Van kitten from a breeder in Reston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reston paves the way for another one to be saved.
