Lady - PA's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING! Hobo and Lady are a bonded pair that were left at the vet's office to be put to sleep simply because their owner didn't have time for them anymore. They have no known health issues and are up to date on their shots. Hobo is 11 years old and Lady is 9. Lady has been with Hobo her entire life and since they are bonded they must be adopted together. They get along well with other dogs. The foster home they are currently in has three other dogs. They would do best in a home with NO cats. They get along with kids. They are regularly taken for walks and are learning to walk well on a leash. Both dogs can do steps. Neither dog has exhibited any kind of food aggression. Hobo and Lady have gotten used to being crate trained in their new foster home. They are crated in individual crates along side of each other. Please consider opening your heart and home to this wonderful pair and let them call your family their own! Lady's adoption fee is $150. Lady's foster home is in Carlisle, PA. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady - PA, a Jacobus Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Jacobus, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Jacobus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacobus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacobus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacobus paves the way for another one to be saved.
