UPDATED BIO 10/18/2012: Buttons is an adorable 8 year old 6-1/2 lb (chubby at this weight should lose at least ½ to 1 lb to be healthier) male yorkie who came into rescue with his brother, Beau. They are very bonded and must be adopted into the same home; they are being fostered in Boynton Beach, FL. Button appears to have some skin allergies and will chew on his feet, leg, butt and thigh until he has a rash. Foster Mom and the vet are trying to figure out if these are environmental or food allergies. He sleeps cuddled up to FM in the bed. He is friendly to all the dogs, and all the people he meets.
Buttons needs a dental - his breath is pretty bad, and he is a kisser/licker. He does use the pee-pee pads for urine if he doesn't get outside. He is house-trained for pee-pee, but not so for poop – he tends to poop on the tile any time he needs to go. Foster Mom will be working on that during the time he is with her. Buttons barks at FM to get up and let him out around 4:30 every morning – his internal alarm clock works pretty well! He wants to live on FM’s lap while she watches TV, a real little Velcro doggie. Buttons is a talker -- so cute. Please consider adopting Buttons and Beau – they will make their new owner(s) very happy
INITIAL BIO 10/14/2012: MEET BUTTONS! Buttons is an adorable 8 year old 6-1/2 lb male yorkie who came into rescue with his brother, Beau. They are very bonded and must be adopted into the same home. These two boys were surrendered by their owner who was no longer able to care for them; they are both very sweet little boys. Buttons & Beau are being fostered in Boynton Beach, FL.
