Serena's Story...
Serena is a year old female black lab. She is a complete love bug and butt wiggler. She
enjoys going for walks and should continue to do so as she needs to lose a few pounds. She
is housebroken and stays right with her foster mom and family when off leash. Serena enjoys
playing with toys and chewing on rawhides. She gets along with other dogs and seems to do
well with cats. This sweet girl deserves a forever home where she can get lots of love and
attention, some good exercise, and lots of chewies and toys.

She is spayed and up to date on her shots and being fostered in Hanover Pa

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serena, a Hanover Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hanover, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
