Charming Gertrude is as loving and affectionate as a cat gets. She wants to be petted and nose kissed, and often falls asleep while being petted! Gertrude is curious and outgoing and loves to 'talk' and communicate with people. She likes to chase balls and jump up to catch toys, but is mainly interested in hanging out with you and cuddle. She was found wandering the streets of brooklyn hungry and exhausted, after probably being abandoned by, or lost to her previous owners. But Gertrude has not lost her affection and need for human companionship, and is ready to meet her new owner-for-life. Gertrude is young, under one year old. She is a slight and pretty brown Tabby, with a hint of Abyssinian in her features. An array of warm browns, black, silver and white adorn her delicate face and body, from the white stripe on her nose, to the white tip of her tail. Gertrude loves to meet new people, and would be the social center of the household. She is very gentle and sensitive, so a home with young children may not be ideal. Gertrude could do well as an only cat but would also do well with another kitty Can you make this dainty princess feel special again? Here is another video of this sweetie: http://youtu.be/Bp84lx6iSXc

Rescue Group Info...
We are a Brooklyn-based group of volunteers committed to improving the lives of animals in distress by working with our communities. We are dedicated to Trap-Neuter-Release programs, finding homes for adoptable animals, performing community outreach and education, and engaging in advocacy.
Please email us at BrooklynAnimalAction@gmail.com if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued cats.
Interested adopters can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt one of our animals, they must fill out an adoption application. If that is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for a donation to help us continue our work.
Primarily Brooklyn, New York but also the rest of New York City.
