Frisbee, our rotty/lab/basset mix, is absolutely the most adorable, sweetest, happiest little guy you could ever hope to meet. All alone, without his siblings or mother, this baby boy was rescued by a good Samaritan who found him abandoned under a neighbor's car. He has spent the last 7 months in a foster home. While his foster mom, who has eleven of her own dogs, loves him dearly, she knows that it is time for this special little guy to go to his forever home. "Friz" has a beautiful, very short, low maintenance coat, is about 8 or 9 months old, weights 42 pounds, has been neutered, is up-to-date on his vaccinations, and is heartworm negative. He is great with all people and all dogs. (Not tested with cats) He loves toys of all kinds and is always happiest when he is carrying something in his mouth. Frisbee is the happiest dog in the world!! His tail wags 24/7, and I mean with gusto. He loves life and likes to play all the time. You rarely see this boy without something in his mouth. He is at his best carrying around a toy, a stick, or a sock. Looking at him, I would have to guess that Frisbee is a mix of a Rottweiler and a Labrador retriever or hound. His coat is shiny black with brindle markings. This little man is just over a year old and weighs close to 50 pounds. (Frisbee’s short legs keep him off of counters and out of trouble.) While he is very active, this fellow would not be the right dog for someone who wants a buddy to go on long hikes with because he has, at some point, sustained an injury to his hip and had to have surgery. This doesn’t hold him back from enjoying running and playing with his dog friends. He is wonderful with people great and small, cat friendly, and just a fun guy to have around to hang out with. Frisbee has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, and is heart worm negative Please call 603-332-2965 or email me at pepperten@metrocast.net for more information.
Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area or mine. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups prior to their adoption. They are brought up north on a USDA transporter whose web site is www.gotransporters.com and beginning every Thursday afternoon through the last delivery on Saturday afternoon you can follow the transporter on Facebook by logging onto their site at www.facebook.com and go to the search bar and type in Got Orphans Transport. This is a fun way to see all of the dogs and pups and perhaps even see your own as they travel to their forever homes.
Rescue Group Info...
We rescue dogs/pups from Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia. We are a small rescue and we work real hard to find good adoptive homes for all of our dogs and puppy's.
Our dogs are temperament tested, UTD on vaccines, rabies vaccine (age appropiate), heart worm tested (over 6 months) and neutered or spayed (over 6 months) and only good family dogs are available for adoption. Please consider a black dog because black dogs are not adopted as often as their light colored friends. Call Janice at 603-332-2965 or email her at pepperten@metrocast.net
The rescues & shelters are located in MS, KY and TN. All of our dogs/pups are quarantined for two weeks or more before transport.

You will need to call us at 603-332-2965 or email us at pepperten@metrocast.net for an application as this is the first step in the adoption process. Once we receive your application, we will give you a call and answer any questions that you may have.

We adopt out in the Northeast states. We are in need of adopters for our pups due to low adoptions here in KY and over population. Most of these beautiful pups are out of time. These pups and dogs do not have much time left due to so many animals being surrendered to the shelter. If you are looking for a best friend or wanting to add a new member to the family, please consider saving a life.
