Ernie's Story...
Meet Ernie! His D.O.B. is 8/08/12. Ernie is still quite the youngster. He loves to play and needs a family that can give him lots of time to learn his commands, and work on lead training. He has plenty of energy and would benefit from a large fenced in area to run and play and get his sniff on. He is very sweet and loving and would make a wonderful addition to any family. He loves his tug toys and likes to run around the yard with the best of them. Another dog in the house would be okay too.

Meet-Your-Match Canineality color is: Green/Free-Spirit!!!

For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ernie, a Lake Odessa Beagle/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Australian Shepherd for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Beagle/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Beagle/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
