Kira's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Kira's Story...
Meet Kira! She is a GORGEOUS American Bulldog who is about 1.5yrs old. She is an absolute love and adores lounging around with people. She is so sweet and loves to cuddle!

We think Kira would do best in a single dog home. She is great with most dogs, but some dogs rub her the wrong way. She has responded extremely well to training with other dogs, but will need an owner who is firm and will let her know that they are in control.

We rescued her just hours before she was set to be euthanized. She is up to date on shots, is spayed, micro chipped and now all she needs is her forever home.

She is currently being fostered in San Diego, CA. If you are interested in adopting Kira, please email: stephanie@theanimalpad.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kira, a San Diego American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in San Diego, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
