Tugboat's Story...
Hey folks! My new name is Tugboat and I just got out of the shelter! Boy, am I glad I did, I got to go on a car ride and to the place where lots of dogs get to hang out on chairs and couches and two squares a day! I am a 5 year old tan and white beagle boy!! I am a very friendly guy and I really want a family to hang out with...maybe with some older kids who can keep up with me and take me for walks. I am betting that when I settle down from these latest chaotic events, I will want to snuggle up with you for some evening TV and naps! Please tell AZBR that you would love to meet me in person - I will steal your heart with my goofy antics!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tugboat, a Phoenix Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
