Scruffy's Story...
Scruffy is a two year old female Bulldog mix that was rescued from the Solano County Animal Shelter where she was on the list to be euthanized.

She was in terrible condition and suffered from Demodex, a skin condition that is treatable and costly. She has recovered fully and is ready for her new family.

She has been fostered around cats, other dogs and small children, she loves them all. She has a silly personality that goes along with her look; she has one ear that sticks straight up and one that is down.

She has been very spoiled and loved in her foster home and needs a home that will continue that! She is small, compact and very strong.

Adoption fee is $150 which includes:
Spay, UTD on vaccines, given flea treatment, heart worm test (neg) and micro chipped

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scruffy, a Sacramento American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
