Merlin's Story...
This is Merlin, he is around 4/5 months and is a border collie/beagle mix. He is good with kids and other dogs and loves to play! He will go all day and needs another dog in the home to match his playful energy as some dogs get frustrated with him because he is so playful. He would do best with a fenced in back yard and someone that was active and could get some of his energy out. Merlin does really well in his crate. He is being fostered with other dogs, cats and children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merlin, a Garden City Border Collie/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Beagle for sale in Garden City, or seeking a Border Collie/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Beagle breeders who help with Border Collie/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
