Taffy's Story...
Taffy is as cute as they come! This little girl is possibly the sweetest cocker spaniel you'll ever meet. Weighing around 18 pounds, this adorable little lady is the perfect size for any family! Taffy is just over one year old. She loves to cuddle with her humans, and she really enjoys playtime. She does very well with other dogs and cats. Taffy is friendly with everyone she meets. As young, spunky girl, Taffy would enjoy a family that would play with her and take her for walks. Taffy spent the beginning of her life as the companion to a special needs child. She found her way into rescue when the family could no longer care for her.

Taffy is potty trained and understands basic commands. She is eager to please and easy to train. Taffy is fully up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed and microchipped

Fence/enclosed patio required for most dogs. We check your vet reference and fence. Dogs are current on vaccinations, HW negative, micro chipped, dental if needed and spayed/neutered. Email lldogrescue@yahoo.com for quickest response.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taffy, a Shawnee Mission Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Shawnee Mission, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Shawnee Mission.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shawnee Mission already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shawnee Mission breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shawnee Mission paves the way for another one to be saved.
