Gil's Story...
Gil is a 10 pound, 2 year old male poodle/toy fox terrier mix rescued from a hoarding situation. Gil has been with his foster family for a few days and seems to have taken all the changes in stride. Gil is good natured and quiet. He is a good eater (not food aggressive), easy going, and a good companion. Gil is learning to walk on a leash and is housebroken if he is walked quickly after his meals. Gil loves attention and likes to hang out where the action is! He gets along well with cats and dogs and would do well in a home with children over the age of 10. Gil is completely vetted and ready for his furever home today! Please fill out an application at www.atailtotell.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gil, a Mt Gretna Toy Fox Terrier/Toy Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Toy Fox Terrier/Toy Poodle for sale in Mt Gretna, or seeking a Toy Fox Terrier/Toy Poodle dog from a breeder in Mt Gretna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt Gretna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt Gretna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Toy Fox Terrier/Toy Poodle breeders who help with Toy Fox Terrier/Toy Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt Gretna paves the way for another one to be saved.
