Lil Foot's Story...
Lil Foot was born around 8/14/12. She is a super sweet kitten who is a non stop purrer. She loves making biscuits on her nice soft fluffy blankets. She loves laps and sleeping on the bed and she loves to play with all her toys and with other cats. She was born without her back left paw and recently underwent a leg amputation. That hasn't slowed her down one bit. She runs, climbs and is just as active as before. She is fostered in Manhattan in the West 60s! C'mon by and see this super cute kitten!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lil Foot, a New York Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
