Duke's Story...
Duke is one handsome fellow. Absolutely wonderful is how the volunteers describe him. Duke is still learning that humans can be a good thing and is still nervous around quick movements. Love and patience from the wonderful volunteers will help him overcome this. Even though Duke has not had the best start at life he still has a smile on his face that is very contagious. Spend any amount of time with this mellow fellow and you too will be sporting a smile on your face. You can tell that Duke is just happy to be alive and would love nothing more then a person to be a companion too. Long walks or sitting just watching the world go by would make this boy happy as long as he is with you. You can't help but fall in love with this beautiful boy, so don't waste another day. RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 9,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.

Our Adoption Process...
Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
