Tear's Story...
Hi, I'm Tear! I'm a very handsome young adult grey and white boy. I came to Town Cats with my sister Freya when my human family lost their home. My sister Freya went off and got adopted right away and left me here alone. I like other cats just fine, but I REALLY like people!! I want to snuggle with them, and rub against their faces, and be picked up, and sit in their laps! I really want my new home, and soon. I was very frightened when I first came into the shelter so it took me a while to get used to ALL these cats, and these new people too. Now I love my new volunteer friends. It might take me a week or so to warm up to you, too, but I promise I'll be your new best friend - I'm a very sweet boy!!! Email to meet me..... I'm sort of lost here at the shelter! (Some cats are very happy here - I'm a bit confused....)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tear, a Morgan Hill Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morgan Hill, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morgan Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgan Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgan Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgan Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
