Paws's Story...
This is Paws, a gorgeous grey young adult tabby Maine Coon mix girl who is polydactyl on her front paws. She is hiding them in this picture with her lovely fluffy tail, but she has big front paws with an extra toe on each! She was abandoned in a box by the side of a road. We'll never know why. As a result she was a bit skittish when she first came into the shelter, but has blossomed into a sweet girl who rubs up against her preferred volunteers. She tolerates the other cats but doesn't seek them out so would probably be fine with other cats, but would also probably be just as good in a single-cat household. Please email to meet this lovely girl who has been through so much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paws, a Morgan Hill Hemingway/Polydactyl cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hemingway/Polydactyl for sale in Morgan Hill, or seeking a Hemingway/Polydactyl cat from a breeder in Morgan Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgan Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgan Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hemingway/Polydactyl breeders who help with Hemingway/Polydactyl rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgan Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
