My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Annika!

I was surrendered to a shelter by my 'owners' because I was supposedly mean and not a good cat. Luckily, I was ear-tipped so the shelter called Carol's Ferals to see if they had room for me. They did, so she picked me up, thinking they'd rehome me into a safe barn home. They were shocked at how beautiful I am AND that my personality was not at all like my 'owner's claimed. I was very shy and scared, but who wouldn't be after being dumped in an unfamiliar place. With some work, I began to show my sweet, loving side to the volunteers and Carol decided that I simply could not go outside due to my long, luxurious fur.

I am a gentle, sweet girl who likes the attention of people, but I can be overwhelmed with too much noise and activity. My ideal home would be one where I can be brushed some-what regularly and I can lounge without being bothered too much. Young kids would probably be unsettling for me, but older, respectful children would be fine. Since I am probably a Persian-mix, I sometimes have watery eyes, but nothing medically-difficult to handle. I just need someone with time to keep me clean and well-groomed!
