Meow! My name is Alexandra-White Foster
Alexandra-White Foster's Info...
|Breed:||Maine Coon||Color:||Tiger Striped||Age:||Adult|
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.
This is Alexandra. She's about 2 1/2 years old. Alexandra's previous owners got addicted to drugs and threw her outside. She didn't know what to do. Alexandra was used to them loving her and keeping her safe. Even though she was left to fend for herself and ended up having feral kittens, Alexandra is still a great cat with a big heart. She loves everyone. Her loving, gentle nature has been crucial in helping her feral kittens become more trusting. Alexandra is a wonderful cat who mothers everyone, including her foster mom (who keeps telling her that it's her job and to take a break and get some "me" time.) We believe Alexandra may be part Maine Coon. She's a big girl; weighing a little over 10 pounds. Two Maine Coon owner/breeders have confirmed that Alexandra is most likely a Maine Coon mix. She has the tell-tell signs of the breed. Along with the physical traits, she also has the personality so cherished by Maine Coon owners. But even if she's just a domestic cat, Alexandra is anything but ordinary! Alexandra has a lot of love to give, and she deserves to be in a home with a lot of people to love and who love her. She will sleep right next to you and help your kids with their homework. She'll also take care of the babies. That's just the kind of cat she is! Alexandra is very dear to her foster mom. And if she didn't already have several of her own, she wouldn't part with her in a million years. And she will most likely want to bring Alexandra to your house to meet your family.
Alexandra's adoption fee is $75. You may call/text Alexandra's foster mom, Beth, directly if you are interested in her at 937-567-2675. Or call 937-271-1411 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about any of our adoptable cats and kittens. You can get a discount for adopting kitties in pairs. We encourage all adopters to take into consideration that most cats do better when they have a companion. All of our cats and kittens are kept current on shots, worming, and will be microchipped by us. And when it's time, we'll take care of their spaying. Plus, they come with a 3-week health guarantee and a 2-week satisfaction or refund guarantee; although we think you'll fall in love and never want to let them go. Many of our kitties can also be seen at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturday from 1 to 6; we alternate between the Centervillle and Kettering stores, so call for that weekend's location before you come.
Rescue Group Info...
We are a small, grass-roots volunteer effort dedicated to easing the problems faced by unwanted Siamese cats and kittens and their non-Siamese cousins. We use foster homes for our animals to provide them with a warm and loving environment from which to be adopted; we give all of our animals excellent vet care to ensure they have a good start in life. We offer education and advice on cat care and cat behavior issues; we provide courtesy listings for adoptable pets for free on our web site. We provide support to indigent owners (emergency food and vet care assistance) as we are able and offer advice and assistance on resolving landlord pet issues (including ADA therapy pet designation). We are dedicated to making life easier for the animals who love and trust us and look to us for their safety, security, and happiness. The problems are large and we are small but we try hard to make a difference for cats at risk.
Donations may be sent to Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue, 273 Fairway Drive, Fairborn, OH 45324
We show our kittens at Pet Supplies Plus in Centerville and in Kettering on alternate Saturdays from 1 to 6 pm. We also visit Moochie and Co. at the Greene on the first Sunday of the month. We also show our animals in their home environments, by appointment, evenings and weekends.
Adoption requirements include an application that tells us something about the adoptive family and authorizes us to contact the family's vet for references, a phone or in-person interview, and at the director's discretion, home visitation. We provide an adoption contract that lists the animal's current and anticipated health care and delineates the owner's and our responsibilities. All cats and kittens have a 3-week health guarantee, in which we assume responsibility for vet care for any unrecognized or incubating health issues, and a 2-week satisfaction guarantee which provides a full refund for animals returned within the 2-week timeframe. Our adoption fees are $75 per Siamese mix or Siamese Wannabe and $100 per Siamese. Cats and kittens adopted in pairs are substantially discounted.
Blue's Mews Siamese Cat Rescue is a small, volunteer-run, non-profit organization assisting Siamese cats, Siamese mixes, and Siamese wannabes (doesn't every cat want to be Siamese?).
We serve the greater Dayton/Fairborn/Beavercreek area (including, but not limited to, Montgomery, Greene, Clark counties)
