Wilma's Story...
What a little lover I am! A sweet and super cute fluffball called a puppy. I know I am a bit camera shy- so what isn't modesty a good thing? Me and my 2 siblings came in here in hopes of finding a family- one for the each of us! If you are looking for a new addition to your family come on in and meet me, you won’t be disappointed. My adoption fee is $250 and includes; current shots, reduced cost spay/neuter and $25 rebate, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area), 5 week training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilma, a Portland German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
