This sweet boy was found wandering the street. He is great with small children, dogs, and possibly cats. He does think he is a small dog and like to sit on your lap but he is gentle otherwise. He is being fostered by a family who has small children and a Chihuahua who was bullying this big guy.. Steve had no reaction at all! They are buddies now.. Steve needs a good home where he is loved. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and is ready to go! Come meet this guy. Email diane for an application...diane.afonso@gmail.com or call 973 902 4763

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steve, a Belleville Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier for sale in Belleville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
