I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Chino was found by a person at 8 weeks old with problems from a demodex mite, which is not contagious to people or other animals. The women who found him insisted on keeping Chino and not wanting to give him up to rescue. Providing for Paws attempted to help this women by providing medical care for Chino so his Demodex mange would clear up and he would feel a lot better. However after several weeks, Providing for Paws returned to check on Chino and his progress and he had become much worse. The women finally decided that giving Chino to rescue would be the best outcome for him. Chino has made much improvement since receiving him into rescue in the beginning of July, however he has a long time to go before his mange is cleared up and he can be neutered. Chino will require a family willing to put in time and effort to continue his treatment of oral medication and medicated baths until his mange is clear. He cannot have a fully complete adoption until his mange treatment is complete and he is neutered. However, if you are interested in adopting Chino, we will be willing to place him in care of his potential furever home as a foster until his neuter and mange has cleared. Chino is sweet and fun loving with people and other dogs. He just needs a family that will give him the love and attention he so deserves.

Rescue Group Info...
Providing for Paws goal is to help keep animals out of shelters and rescues and stay in their family homes, by providing food for family pets when in need. As well as lessen the homeless pet population by requiring all animals in the home to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated through Providing for Paws. Although no one will EVER be turned down for food assistance with or without spaying or neutering their pet. We ask that once the family is financially stable, to donate back to us for the next animal in need. Occasionally we are in the position to be able to help an animal with rescue. We do have animals available for adoption.
Providing for Paws requires all applicants to complete an adoption application. Home and vet checks are conducted to ensure the animal is being placed in a proper well fit environment.
We offer services in 6 counties in Metro Detroit:
