Buckley (AKA BIG LOVE)'s Story...
Buckley (AKA BIG LOVE) was found on the street in a high shooting, drug infested area of Newark NJ. He walked right up to his rescuer to say hi in the rain. He was taken inside away from harm and cold temps. He is a big boy who loves to lounge around and cuddle. He is very mellow. He does like to play so he must have been someone's pet before. Buckely is approx. 6 years old Sadly out there in the rough streets, Buckley contracted Feline FIV, however cats with this disease show no signs and live wonderful long lives if kept indoors and given good food and of course love.. FIV cats can even live with other cats, as the only way to contract it would be from mating ( all are fixed) or from sever fighting drawing blood. Buckley is a lover, not a fighter, which is where the Big Love nickname came from. Big Love would be great as a single pet to keep you company. Watch some TV, listen to some tunes... Buckely needs a home to call his own and give BIG LOVE to! Look at that face! This is one Kool Kat... Our Adoption Process...
$90 adoption fee. We check vet references, leases, we check a valid photo ID as well. We also do home visits if no vet reference is available. Adoption process is usually no more than a few days.
