Toad's Story...
Toad is a 5 month old, DSH, Classic Tabby. He is a sweet boy, but he is on the shy side and he will need a home that will give him time to adjust. He will sleep with you at night and cuddle up with you on the couch, but it is on his terms. He likes to be pet, play with wand toys, and hanging out with his foster siblings. He is is great with other cats and fine with dogs. He LOVES wet food and will "talk" and "dance" as soon as you open the can. He is a petite little boy and he has a gorgeous swirled pattern. This adorable little boy deserves a home of his own to blossom and grow up in. Please consider adopting this sweet boy! He would love to be adopted with his brother Mario, but it is not required.

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Toad's adoption fee is $100 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toad, a Eagan Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Eagan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Eagan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eagan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eagan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eagan paves the way for another one to be saved.
