Yes I am a mom's boy - she thought I was the girl ( not that we
are not mirror images). Where she goes I will follow particularly if there
is can food involved. Well I guess you want to know something about me.
What I like; sleeping under the covers curl up with mom and the little
kittens or on mom's lap, following mom around telling her about my day and
when she talks I listen intently, canned food, playing with the spinny toy,
wrestling and tag with the my sister Licorice and the kittens.
What I don't like; mom getting us up before the sun is up, the dog sticking
his nose into my food, bathes (ok I fell in the bathtub), a dirty litterbox
and an empty waterbowl. I\'m a black with a touch of white neutered male kitten. I am negative for FELV/FIV, spayed or neutered and had one (if adult) or two (if kitten) distemper shot(s).
Rescue Group Info...
9 Lives Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which depends solely upon unpaid volunteers to operate. As we don't have a shelter, we keep our cats in foster homes until they are adopted. Thus, the number of cats we can rescue depends directly on the number of foster homes we have - the more people willing to foster, the more animals we can rescue. We are also a "no-kill" organization and will euthanize an animal only if its health is so poor that trying to keep it alive would be cruel to the animal. It is our objective to make every effort to place all animals that come into our care into appropriate loving homes. Our volunteers love and get to know each animal which enables us to match prospective adopters with an animal that will fit in their home and become a beloved member of the family.

We hold adoption fairs every Saturday. Our cats are at the PetsMart on Powers throughout the week and we bring additional cats and kittens for our adoption fair every Saturday from 11:00 to 3:00. We rotate cats through PetsMart during the week. If you see a cat that you may be interested in, please contact us to set up a meeting anytime during the week.
We have all prospective adopters fill out an application to see if their lives and needs match with one of our pets. If approved they are required to sign a contract with us. Each cat has been tested and either spayed or neutered, and have had their shots. Adoption fees vary depending on the cat, but include the FELV/FIV test, spay or neuter and one (adults) or two (kittens) distemper shots.
