Lilly has been rescued from a bad situation, and we need help with her vet bills and board bills. She will never be rideable again, as for years she was badly overridden as a lesson horse, starved because all the other horses in her corral would not let her eat her share, and basically left to die.
As you can see from her lovely face, she was once a very beautiful, sought-after mare.
She also was kicked in her forearm, which is healing now with vet care and medication. Lilly once was a $15,000 Quarter Horse show horse. She was used up as a lesson horse starting at 18 years of age. Now she is in her later 20’s. She would only be up for adoption at no donation, in lieu of caring for her in her old age, within the Los Angeles area so we can be sure of her placement.
Thank you for reading about Lilly, and if you would like to take her in to continue her recovery care, or contribute to our care of her, her board, vet and other medical, bills, please contact or donate at: firstname.lastname@example.org (also our Paypal donation email address)
