My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia Sue is a very friendly and loving young girl who is ready to find her forever home. She needs to be socialized more and really needs someone to take "baby steps" with her. Mia is unsure of meeting new people and is easily overwhelmed. Anyone interested in adopting Mia should foster first. In fact, a good foster home is what this girl needs. She will need someone to let her experience new things safely. She listens well and learns quickly. With the holidays approaching, her family will need to understand that a lot of people and noise may be stressful for her and should have a safe place for her to stay until they are over. Possibly, a nice quiet room. Mia is a little shy with some men and boys. When taking Mia into your home, you should treat her as you would a new puppy. Mia definitely needs to feel safe and it would be wise if anyone interested in her would come to the shelter and visit with her a few times before taking her home. This girl can become a fantastic addition to almost any family if they are willing to put the time and effort into her. With lots of love, patience and understanding Mia Sue will shine.
