I'm Hank the hound! I am 2 years old but I am still lively like a puppy! I enjoy playing outside and am excellent at fetch. I came to Suncoast because my previous owners were moving and apparently I didn't make the packing list! I have had a few different homes in my little life and I really hope that when I get adopted it will be forever. I am sure to make someone a really nice, active companion. Ask to learn more about me!

About Our Shelter...
Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.

We are open to the public for adoptions (or just come to visit the animals) as follows:
Tuesday - Friday 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Adoptions stop @ 4:30 PM)
Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (adoptions stop @ 3:30 PM)
CLOSED SUNDAY AND MONDAY
We are open to the public for adoptions (or just come to visit the animals) as follows:
