My story

Introducing Snickers! She's a 3-4 year old Shepherd/Lab mix. She came from another rescue and now she is hoping her stay at Friendship will bring her a forever home. Snickers gets along very well with other dogs, is house trained, and knows a few commands. She is a little strong on the leash so will need some work in that department. She's a sweet girl that longs for a home and would make a great family pet. She weighs about 60 pounds currently but should lose 5-10 pounds to be at her best so a family who will commit to a healthier lifestyle for her with more walks and fewer snacks would be ideal. Snickers is spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up-to-date on vaccinations, wormed, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and you are interested in adopting a Friendship dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Appointments are not necessary. Come anytime during regular business hours.
