Caroline's Story...

On a recent trip to the Orange County Shelter, we came across Sweet Caroline, (bum, bum, bum), patiently waiting in her kennel for someone to fall in love and take her home. After nearly a month with no home in sight, Caroline and one of our volunteers locked eyes and her journey with Lovebugs began.

Caroline is an adorable 2 year old, 15 pound Poodle with beautiful long legs and a soft curly coat. This sweet and gentle girl is a true social butterfly and absolutely loves meeting new people and other doggies on her daily walks. She gets so excited every time she sees someone new that she wags her nubby little tail a million miles per hour. Caroline is doing quite well at adapting to life outside the shelter and is patiently waiting for someone special to give her the forever home she was always meant to have.

Our adoption fee for Caroline is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, grooming, treatment for fleas and worms and best of all, lots of love and socialization in her foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Caroline, a Irvine Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
